film. This paper thin sensor is simply placed between contacting surfaces
and by changing color, can instantly display and permanently record how
pressure is being distributed. Similar in concept to Litmus paper, the
color change is directly proportional to the amount of force applied and is
quantifiable. Common applications include lamination presses, bolted or
gasketed interfaces, heat sealing, clamping, heat sinks, nip rollers, and
impact measurement.
