Beesletter, act 2. ZZzzZZzzzZ 🐝

Knock, knock… Anybody there?

The bees are here to deliver their weekly honey again. 🍯

Hi there 👋

How did your day go so far? Anything interesting?

We hope you liked our first-ever beesletter. We certainly loved your feedback 😊

You made it working on it far more enjoyable, and it was awesome to start with. We made a vow to spread only the sweetest B2B stuff ideal for you, and of course, make you laugh. And we intend to keep it.

Keep scrolling to get drunk on our latest buzz 😉

THE BEES ARE BLOGGING:
The B2B Ideal Client Profile Blueprint

The previous theme was social selling on LinkedIn. This time it’s selling in general. The first step of any sales process to be precise - defining your ideal client profile. As history shows, the first step is always the crucial one.

If Sir Tim Berners-Lee hadn’t started working at CERN, will we have the internet as we know and love today? If you don’t have your ideal client profile (ICP) defined, will you have successful outreach?

To be completely honest with you, the chances are extremely low. No matter how good you are at doing the next steps, skipping the first step will probably lead to an outreach disaster. Best case scenario: far fewer leads. 😢

The thing is - finding your ideal client profile is the first and most crucial step for every B2B business. You certainly don’t want to serve just anyone. The marketing and sales expenses are much lower when you know where to shoot. And knowing where to aim makes reaching the target that much easier.

That’s why we gathered our beehive strength and knowledge to create yet another super-useful guide on how to define your ICP. 😉 Anyway, enough banter. Here is a good straight to the point summary:

Know your strengths - Should you start from the market? But how can you start from the market if you already have a product? The starting point for defining your ideal client profile is knowing the nature of your business, the benefits of your solution and having an understanding of your previous clients.
Find market opportunities - Once you know your solution’s strengths, it’s time to stop and ask yourself what companies could benefit the most from your strengths. That will help you narrow down the search.
Define your ideal client profile - Based on your strengths and the market opportunities, you can create a preliminary list of industries that have the potential to be your ICP.  Knowing the industry, you should take into consideration the companies’ location, size, and employees. We recommend using LinkedIn’s filters available with Sales Navigator.
Define the ideal positions - Knowing the ICP, you can then take a look at the organizational charts within those companies, and which positions are most relevant to you – their official titles, position variations, etc. When outlining your marketing and sales process, one of the first things you need to do is figure out who you should actually be going to talk to.
Understand their problems - Now that you know your ICP, you should work on the last piece of the puzzle - helping your potential clients the right way. What are their problems, fears, pains? Create messages that will resonate with them. Make them feel special, validated and heard.

Having a well defined ICP will take you way further than shooting in the dark, and hoping for the best. You are probably guessing by now that there is so much more when it comes to defining it. So simply click the button below to read the whole post:

BOOK RECOMMENDATION

by Dancho:
Predictable Prospecting

This book is one of my favourite B2B growth books out there. I like how it’s all explained in a manner that can be understood and valuable to both marketing newbies and seasoned sales masters.

Moreover, I was following Aaron Ross’s career for years, and as soon as I found out he had another book that he’s involved with, I had to get my hands on it.

Even though it focuses on the whole prospecting process (and you should read the entire book) when it comes to defining your ICP, the first part is a must.

This book can serve you as a powerful weapon for creating predictable sales pipeline through outbound outreach.

I wouldn’t add anything more, as I don’t want to spoil it for you. Feel free to add this book to your bookmarks - it’s worth it.

MEET AND GREET:
Hristina Tancheva - Project manager & ICP specialist

Hristina was among the first bees in Bizzbee’s hive. Her bee story is a long and fruitful one. She started as an intern bee, and as in any good story, one thing led to another, and she became one of the most recognizable faces in our honey-sweet hive.

As a project manager, Hristina’s job is everything but a dull one. She manages large teams of outbound outreach experts and is the multitasking queen. And if your problem or interest is ICP related, she is our go-to-bee.

But hey, it’s not all work-related. She is our spiritual bee, that finds joy and motivation in making other people’s day.

Her achievements and dedication is unmatched. We are more than proud of having a remarkable bee as Hristina in our beehive.

Beesletter, vol. 3. ZZzzZZzzzZ 🐝

It’s a new week,

it’s a new day,

it’s a new beesletter for us.

And we’re feeling good.

🎵🎸♬

This week we gathered fresh new honey for you. We promise it’s worth your time. Otherwise, we wouldn’t even consider it. Because, you know - bees have their standards sky-high. This week is all about databases. Yes, that lists of prospects that can be particularly annoying. But, they don’t have to be that. Read on to learn what’s new in the world of databases, and what can YOU do to make your databases shine.✨

THE BEES ARE BLOGGING:
Building your B2B prospects list

Building prospects lists is far from easy. On the contrary, it tends to be meticulous, demanding and time-consuming. But does it have to be that way? We at BizzBee use backed up techniques that allow us to pull the best out of the prospecting process.

Curious to find out which? 🧐

Understand your target - You need to make sure you know who you are trying to approach. You can’t proceed until you know what type of companies are ideal clients for you. And what position within the companies is the most relevant for you to target.
Setup the environment - As with any project, you need to do some preparation. This could mean downloading specific tools, subscribing to platforms, or preparing your spreadsheet or CRM where you keep your leads. We are more than happy to share the ones we find useful.
Prospect companies - What do you need to know to be able to find your ideal type of client companies? It mostly involves using search engines, but also many other techniques and approaches to find the companies you need.
Find the right people - Don’t go looking for the CEO and wonder why you never get feedback. An HR solution should target the HR decision-makers, a financial tool should target financial decision-makers. Find the right person within the company that is mostly concerned with what you have to offer.
Find contact information - Don’t be that person that always e-mails companies using their generic e-mail. It doesn’t work anymore. We can help you learn how to find direct contact information – direct business e-mails, direct phone numbers, and their LinkedIn profile.
Quality control - Building lists is always prone to mistakes – either human (typos) or computer mistakes (tools are not always 100% accurate). Therefore you must go through several steps to ensure that you have the highest quality list.
Lead automation - Once you know how to do the prospecting yourself, then you can start considering automation tools. After all these years, we are continuously screening the web for new tools, and we even have a set of tests that we do to test their accuracy, and rarely any reaches more than 70-80%.

If you crave to learn more about these steps, or simply want to glance at the tools we find most useful when it comes to prospecting, the way ahead is clear.

My team loves using Texau. Their minimalistic design at first seemed too simple, but don’t let it fool you. Texau offers a lot compared to its price. It will save you hours of your time. Definitely a must-have for quality automation of the prospecting process. Be careful, though, always do a manual quality check.

Dancho Dimkov - Chief Executive Bee

The time has come for you to meet our founder and growth fanatic - Dancho Dimkov. If you haven’t already 😄

Dancho’s fascination with growth begins long before BizzBee Solutions. He spent most of his youth on education and helping people.

Aside from being our Chief Executive Bee and office Superman, Dancho is just a peculiar guy, with a new idea always forming on his mind 💡, and with a genuine passion for food. 🍔

He is very proud of his hometown, Kavadarci, as the city is known for its vast vineyards, where the best wine is produced.

He is a loving husband and father. If you ask him about his most significant achievement, he would undoubtedly say that’s his family.

Beesletter, vol. 4. ZZzzZZzzzZ 🐝

Hello, it’s bee

I was wondering if after all these days you’d like to meet

🎝♬♫

Just kidding. But of course, the invitation is open. 🙂

This week, our bees decided to be a little bit more on the creative side, and write about writing. Yes, you read that well. 🤯

Copywriting to be precise.

For those who think that by copy, we mean writing down another annoying sales pitch, you’re mistaken. Copy is so much more than that.

Copywriting is a way of life, way of thinking. Way to show the world who you really are. Not to mention how important it is in the business world. That’s where the real talent comes to shine - to enchant, to seduce, to captivate...

THE BEES ARE BLOGGING:
The B2B Outbound Copywriting Playbook

When it comes to outreach messaging, there is never too much information. Following the market, we can get direction on what to focus our efforts on.

So, since crafting amazing copy is so important, we try really hard to fill our blog with the finest content. As always, our bees did their best to create a lip-smacking super blog.

Quick summary of what outreach messaging is made of:

Understanding the target audience – You can’t have a good marketing campaign if you don’t know your target. Knowing who to target will eventually make for a better outreach process. This is a crucial step that you can’t afford to skip.
Determine the marketing offer – You need to craft a marketing offer that will pique your prospects' interest and curiosity. An offer that will make them come knocking on your door, asking for more. In most cases, this should be something that requires minimum effort on your part (so you can help a lot of people), but is of high value to them (so they would be happy to get it for free).
Mapping out the outreach steps – Assuming that you have the target and the marketing offer ready, the next step is to map the journey of how your target will get to the marketing offer. You need to decide on how many messages you will send, through which channel, what happens if they say yes, what happens if they say no, etc. All the steps needed should be mapped, and it is rarely a straightforward approach.
Creating the messages – By now, with the help from the map, you know what to send and where you should send it, so you should be ready to start preparing the copy for the messages. What will be the hook? What will be the story? How will you raise awareness? How will you pique curiosity?
A/B testing – There is no single solution for the right message. What works for us might not necessarily work for you. Different industries, different targets, different marketing offers. Let the numbers speak. If you measure the responses properly, you will be able to choose the copy that works best for you, based on the feedback you receive.

Of course, it's a bit more complicated. We made our efforts to elaborate on all the steps we as a company take to help you achieve your goals.  Each bullet point is thoroughly explained and clarified in our lengthy blog post titled The B2B Outbound Copywriting Playbook. Click on the button below to read it all. 😊

Here are some of the do’s and don’ts for a successful outreach: Do’s - make it about them, attract and keep their attention, close with intent. Dont’s - bragging, being generic and salesy. Nicky, just like Hristina, manages a successful team, dedicated to outbound outreach. She is the ultimate deadline deliverer and an accomplished multitasker.

On a more personal level, Nicky is a stargazer.⭐She loves the pretty night skies, and all the secrets it has to tell. If only we can figure out all the secrets of the universe.

Anyway, don’t let her dreamy side fool you. She is a body combat practitioner, and she’s not afraid to use it - to bring balance and calmness in her life.

THE BEES ARE BLOGGING:
The Art of B2B Email Outreach

Email marketing is nothing new. Not only it's more than 40 years old and still going strong. But, it's still evolving and shows no signs of slowing down. We at BizzBee use email as one of our main outreach channels for our clients and us, and it works amazingly well. In one of our latest blog posts, we wrote about B2B email outreach and how to make the most of it.

Let us cover the main bullet points that lead us to the ultimate email outreach strategy. From finding your ICP to sequence follow-ups.

Understand your target – The purpose of this part is for you to make sure you know who you are trying to approach. You can’t go forward until you know what type of companies are your ideal clients, and what position within the company is the most relevant for you to target...
Build the database – Once you have the ideal target, the next step is to build a database of highly targeted companies and their decision-makers. It should be wise also to include other relevant contact information (besides the necessary emails), e.g. phone numbers and LinkedIn profiles.
Prepare copy that converts – Once you know who your target audience is, you should prepare a sequence of messages that can move cold prospects into sales-ready leads.
Email campaign automation – Once you choose your email automation tool, the needed steps are almost universal. We can help you learn how to configure your email, how to set up the sequence, set up the email delays and schedules. We also give our customisation tips and tricks.
Email campaign follow-up – What to do once you’ve got the campaign up and running. We give suggestion (based on experience) on how to handle the responses manually and how to deliver the warm leads. We also provide you with our report template and tell you about the KPIs you should keep an eye on.

That was just a summary. No matter if you just started, or you've already mastered the art of B2B email outreach, there is always something new to learn. Therefore, we encourage you to check out our super blog post for more quality content. The article is titled The Art of B2B Email Outreach 😲, and you can check it here:

To email or not to email

It’s time to see what our fellow marketers have to say. 🥳 Most of them share our opinion - B2B Email outreach is at its peak. And it’s here to stay. That’s because email as a platform offers a variety of support, especially to the B2B world. It’s easy, fast and cost-effective. Even with all these new technologies invented every day, marketers keep coming back to email. The reason is evident - for more than 10 years, email is the number 1 platform that generates the highest ROI for businesses.

Here are the top 3 email outreach posts we selected for you this week:

56 cold email subject line examples that crushed it - Great article from Lemlist emphasizing the importance of email subject lines.👏 Believe it or not, the success of the email campaign can be largely dependent on how the subject line is perceived or accepted. After all, the open rate, depends entirely on the subject's quality. Knowing this, we found this article with more than enough examples of riveting subject lines that will undoubtedly boost your creativity.
The Sales Email Template That Won 16 New B2B Customers - What's the difference between the sales email no one opens and responds to and the one that generates dozens of new customers?

This article contains an excerpt from the book The Predictable Revenue, by Aaron Ross and Jason Lemkin, who also wrote this blog post, along with Heather R. Morgan. According to them, the answer varies. They all agree that to stay on top of the game, you need to keep up with the latest trends. So, why do most emails fail?

Too long, too many ideas, too hipster, too soft - are just part of the problem.😉
Which is Best for Pitching in Sales? Cold Calls vs Cold Emails

- In this article, our peers in Mailtag compare the differences in cold calling vs cold emailing. Which one should you pick for your B2B outreach campaigns? Calling is oftentimes considered rude. When you call someone, you are interrupting whatever someone is doing right now. From this angle, phone calls are often set for failure. At emailing, you are not disturbing anyone. Your prospects can open it whenever the time is right.

So, how to know which one is better? Spoiler alert: according to this article, the best technique is a combination of both. 😉

TOOL RECOMMENDATION

by Hristina:
Reply.io

Reply.io is my favourite multichannel platform of all time, especially the email outreach part. They offer an excellent outreach solution, suitable to both our and our clients' needs. Attractive interface, even better functionality. And an awesome predictive and reporting system. They even got the copy part covered with their email quality check service.

Reply.io makes the email outreach automation process a walk in the park. 🥰

MEET AND GREET:

As a business development manager, Marija’s responsibilities are pretty vast.

She takes care of a well-oiled team of experts, dedicated to making most of the sales in our company.

On a personal level, Marija is an outgoing soul, happy to see people’s and animals’ faces wherever she goes. Did we mention her bike? Yes, her preferred means of transportation, which turned out to be kind of a lifestyle, and certainly a source of entertainment and joy.

And she is right.

Growth is change. Growth is a necessity. Growth is inevitable.

It means getting out of your comfort zone. But although it’s often painful and scary, it’s kinda pleasant pain, the good scary.

THE BEES ARE BLOGGING:
SMEs' Shortcut to Quick Growth

Working with 350+ companies helped us deduct 4 steps that can make any company grow. It wasn’t always like that. We stumbled upon so many obstacles before realising what needs to be done. It wasn’t an easy task, but it was certainly an achievable one.

That’s why we wrote an extensive article that can save you all our trouble. 😊

Let’s summarise those 4 steps in a few lines:

Market Research – Why do you need research? Well, would you risk your business leading it in an unknown direction? No, right? The logical first step is to get some knowledge of the market, its flaws and requests. By not making a thorough research of the environment you want to grow, you jeopardise your whole mission. The bottom line of good market research is a clear understanding of your ICP.
Inbound Lead Generation Plan – After in-depth research, you probably know what the market wants, and you know what to do to attract it. While conducting an inbound lead generation plan, you can think of your website as your shop. Ads, SEO, promotions, and other traffic generation channels - all of these are part of the inbound lead generation strategy.
Outbound Lead Generation Plan – Tired of waiting on your ideal prospect to reach out? Perhaps it's time for you to make the first move. You are probably aware that inbound strategies work in the long run, but not instantly. So, it will take some time until you see some progress. In the meantime, do the outbound plan. Define your ideal companies, define the positions within companies and gather some business intelligence.
Lead Outreach – We assume you’ve found your prospects and qualified them. What’s left is to do the final outreach. With inbound lead generation, you can only hope for the right lead, while with outbound, you choose who you reach out to. When deciding on how to do the actual outreach, there are several channels to choose from, or you can use a mix of them.

Briefly, those are the 4 main steps we use to grow our business. Click the button below to read our comprehensive article so you can take the shortcut to growth.

THE LATEST CURATED BUZZ:
Inbound vs Outbound - The power of opposites

As Mike Pettigrew's quote goes: I believe that the greatest crime is to learn something that can significantly benefit other people, yet share it with no one.

Since this week's subject is B2B outbound growth, we though that clarification on inbound and outbound marketing will be useful.

We decided to put the emphasis on these two, and see what others have to say on what works best.

Why Your Growth Team Needs Inbound and Outbound - Nice article by Growth Marketing Conference, that teaches us why we need both strategies to grow our business. As we already distinguish these two, now it's essential to understand that we need to combine them. Some marketers believe that outbound outreach is outdated and that they need to focus their efforts on inbound only. But, that's not true. We need to change our mindset because outbound is not the problem, but how we use it. Whether you prefer using one tactic before the other, read this article - it may change your mind. 😉
The Problem With Scale: Inbound vs. Outbound Marketing - There are a lot of misconceptions about inbound vs outbound growth strategies. It’s a broadly known fact that inbound marketing had most of the attention for years. Even more, prominent vendors like HubSpot and Marketo have been vocal about it. The outbound is somehow left in the dark. But why? A sustainable, scalable, and predictable marketing strategy should contain complementary elements of outbound and inbound. Outbound may be a more traditional way, but the results it can achieve are enormous. The problem with the inbound, on the other hand, is that the inbound tactics simply don’t offer the best results for B2B companies that are growing and scaling at a rapid pace. 😕
Outbound Sales: Why Outbound Hustling is Still a Vital Growth Strategy

Outbound sales - and how to master it in four easy steps. What can we learn from this article? Companies are often led to believe that an effective marketing strategy is expensive. It doesn't have to be that way. The outbound approach can be really affordable, but it is time-consuming. So, the real problem is a lack of time. Finding the leads, researching them and emailing can be a long process. But, many startups don't have the resources to perform a dedicated inbound marketing campaign. So, the solution is outbound. So what are the four steps that can help us conquer the outbound and still do a decent job? According to our friends in CrunchBase, you should pay attention to the following: use time to save money, personalisation, perfect your messaging and of course, master the ideal client profile. 😉

E-BOOKS RECOMMENDATION

by Dancho:
BizzBee’s enchanting ebooks

As a growth fanatic myself, I love talking about how to make things bigger. Not just bigger but stronger, fiercer, sustainable. It’s not easy to start a company. You have to invest every part of you without having second thoughts. My road was bumpy, but I am grateful because I learnt some valuable lessons along the way.

I recall a quote that is really close to my heart. It goes like this: The fruit of your own hard work is the sweetest, by Deepika Padukone. I agree completely.

Once I established the outbound growth formula, I began writing. Since then, I wrote 6 books dedicated to growth. I recommend them not because they’re mine, but because they encompass the entire outbound strategy that can provide your B2B company with a full sales pipeline.

Check them out, they are entirely free. 📈

MEET AND GREET:
Vera Eftimovska - Marketing Manager

Well, how to start describing our copywriter with a copy, hmm?!

Vera’s beginnings in BizzBee are so long ago, perhaps we should have started this story with once upon a time... Just kidding. 😉

As a Marketing Manager Bee, Vera’s job is to manage all the activities in the marketing department. And as such, she has a lot on her back.

Thankfully, she can always count on her coworkers’ help. Vera’s second passion is psychology. Because of that, she is a great teammate and an empathetic friend. Being a psychologist allows Vera to make better connections with her team and accept change much quicker.

When at home, Vera loves spending time with her husband and their dog. She likes to exercise, so she can afford to eat whatever she feels like. Especially chocolate. 🥴

And while her husband prepares to take the dog for a walk, Vera loves to binge-watch a few episodes of her favourite series - Doctor Who. She also enjoys the yearly Harry Potter marathon.

No.7 already? Woah, time does fly when you are having fun…

In our previous beesletters, we covered pretty much all the main topics BizzBee passionately stands for. But wait, we have one more. The last piece of the puzzle.

What do you think it is? Hmm, what do bees buzz about, except making the sweetest honey?

Well, when our bees aren’t busy with the honeycomb or searching for freshly scented flowers, they hang out with their favourite plants.

They nurture them. 😊

Yes, we are going to talk about nurturing LinkedIn leads.

Let’s hop on the nurture train, start the engine and dive into the latest buzz.

Join us in our nurturing adventure!  🥰

P.S. We are expecting our newest e-book on Nurturing to come out very soon, and we are head over heels about it. Stay tuned!

THE BEES ARE BLOGGING:
3 Do’s and 3 don'ts of nurturing LinkedIn prospects

This week is all about nurturing. Nurturing LinkedIn prospects more precisely. Everyone wants to be treated like a person, be heard and valued. Communication is always the key. It's no different when it comes to prospect nurturing. Nurturing is the key part of gaining new clients, but also friends and relationships. In our latest blog post, we talk about do's and don'ts in a successful nurturing process. Here they are:

Talk to a person – Even though we are a B2B oriented agency, we prefer to use P2P communication (person to person). We know LinkedIn is a network made for business people. However, it's primarily a social network where people can chat. We can use that to our advantage.
Actively listen – Nowadays, we are all guilty of living at a fast-pace. We rush to work, we rush to get our kids from school, we rush to make lunch, and so on. It's a runaway world. But we need to work on being present. We also need to make our prospects feel heard.
Affirmation and paraphrasing – How will your prospects know that they are being heard? After all, they can't see your body language through LinkedIn. That's why you need to affirm their messages. If you get tired of agreeing, or you feel like you are not authentic, you should go with paraphrasing.
Don't interrogate them – Conversation is a two-way street. Make your prospects valued and appreciated. Don't make them feel attacked. After all, they made time out of their busy schedules to talk to you. Our job is to help them, not sell them something that won't solve their problems.
Don't make assumptions – While marketing is all about generalising and making assumptions, sales is a tad different. Start by asking the right questions. Be politely direct. Have in mind that every person is different. Don't assume they will all respond the same way.
Don’t jump the obstacles – Many psychologists would say that you can't help people who won't admit that they have a problem. So that's the first obstacle. If someone has more leads than they could handle, the efforts to sell the lead generation solution will be in vain. So don't take shortcuts, but walk your prospects through the whole journey. If guided right, they will acknowledge that they might have the problem that you can help them solve.

And this is just the summary. If you want to dive deeper into the ins and outs of LinkedIn prospect nurturing click the button bellow ⬇

The right way to nurture LinkedIn leads

Linkedin is a vast network. In fact, it’s so big that plenty of marketers and salespeople feel lost. Lost as in can’t seem to find the right prospects. How’s that? Can’t you catch a fish in an ocean full of fish? Apparently, that’s not as easy as it seems. These 3 articles confirmed that not only should you make an effort to connect with certain people, but also stay a relevant person to them, and not a guy/girl with the sales pitch.

4 tips for nurturing leads and generating sales using LinkedIn - This article from the Reno Gazette Journal offers a few tricks you can use when nurturing leads on Linkedin. We know that it’s easier said than done, but we all have to start somewhere. There is no easy solution to landing more sales. Our favourite tip is to avoid hard selling. At the end of the day, LinkedIn is a powerful platform with an incredible reach, but we all should use it wisely.
How to Nurture Your Leads - Prospecting is fairly easy. But what happens after you’ve connected? This is a very critical moment since one wrong action can result in a disaster. This article by ModernMedia.io teaches us how to behave with our newly gained leads and how to build long-term partnerships. The top 3 things we all need to remember are: use a multi-channel approach, try to stay on top of mind throughout the buying cycle, and of course, continue to offer value.
3 Ways to Use LinkedIn to Build Your Network - And the last super article comes from HRCI. Here you can learn how to turn your Linkedin connections into meaningful relationships or even partnerships. Of course, you don’t have to chit-chat with all of your connections, that would be merely impossible. But with the ones that can become an essential part of your business strategy. First thing you wanna do is make your profile more inviting. You certainly don’t want to make your guests feel uncomfortable, right? The other thing is to try and generate genuine conversations with your prospects. And last but not least, always follow-up and engage with them.

BOOK RECOMMENDATION

by Dancho:
How to Win Friends and Influence People
by Dale Carnegie

One of my favourite confidence-boosting books. I am not a psychologist, so I didn’t have an in-depth understanding of people’s feelings. I felt that I need to understand them better so I can genuinely help them out. But, I am also proof that everyone can learn.

I sincerely recommend this book to everyone out there who struggles with maintaining quality relationships. This book has taught me a bunch of life lessons. It taught me how to value people and their time.

Very few people are born with a natural charisma. Hence, many entrepreneurs now are starting to grasp the need to be more charming, persuasive, good listeners and ultimately - sellers.

All of this is achievable if you have the right book in your hands.

MEET AND GREET:
Maja Dimkova - Co-founder & Queen Bee

Since we talk about nurturing, there is no better time to introduce our queen bee. As we all know, every beehive has its own queen that cares for the wellbeing and prosperity of her bees.

Maja is a co-founder and administrator of BizzBee Solutions. She is the main bee carer and order keeper. Whatever problem the bees might have, Maja is there to offer the best solution and keep the positive energy flowing.

When out of office, Maja likes to treat herself with a cup of brandy - her favourite drink. A proud mother as she is, her son is her eternal inspiration and joy. And whenever she is not busy with parenting, travelling or managing the busy bees, she loves indulging in the pleasure of binge-watching her favourite series - Game of Thrones.

The robots are watching you!!!

[bzzt, bzzt] 📹

How does this make you feel?

We don’t know about you, but our bee sense is tingling.

But, don’t worry. This is not a prologue for some fiction movie about the robotic invasion. Instead, we refer to the automation. It’s after all an automation age.

The age where automation prevails in almost every aspect of our lives.

Even we, the busy bees, have our favourite automation tools. 🛠️

Sadly, we can’t do all the outreach by hand. That way, it could take ages to harvest all the honey. That’s why this week we decided to point out all the amazing programmes busy bees use so you can try them too. 🥰

What’s your opinion on automation tools? Do you use any?

THE BEES ARE BLOGGING:
Best proven tools for B2B cold email outreach that won't disappoint you

Since our bees use the help of automation for their daily harvesting, we thought that it too requires a proper introduction. Essentially, automation tools are very helpful when it comes to doing a repetitive job. A job that you can easily outsource to a machine. A lot of people or companies don’t have the time or resources to do the job by themselves. That’s where the tools we talk about come handy. 😊

Pros & cons of using automation tools

We analyzed all the pros and cons we could think of while using these tools. It’s not always smooth sailing, so it’s necessary to know all the variables. One of the biggest pro arguments is the analytics and reporting feature. You need the data to be able to conclude what works and what doesn’t. So you can adjust accordingly.
8 cold outreach automation tools

During the years, we recognised the need for some kind of automation in our daily tasks, because it was unfeasible to do that manually. We researched various tools and decided to try some of them out. First on the list was Reply.io. Great tool, we use it for some time now and are quite pleased with it. Then, Snov.io. Amazing interface, functionality… It ticks a lot of boxes. Third, on the list is Woodpecker. Personalisation, metrics, everything you need. And the list goes on.

We think it’s best to stop here. There are plenty of email outreach automation tools on the market. And we can’t afford to incorporate them all in a single beesleteer.

But if you want to glance at the full list, feel free to check out our latest blog post. 🥰

High Tech vs. High Touch: How to Balance Automation & Human Interaction in Sales - Nowadays, automation plays a critical role in the sales cycle. This article does a great job of acknowledging the importance of automation, but also, the need for the human factor. So, it’s all in the balance.

“The layered approach refers to the creation of a sales environment that uses the combination of automation and human interaction intelligently.”

What’s important is to use human intervention at the right time, and with the right prospects. But, when is it time to use one over the other?
3 Ways Your Cold Email Campaigns Need to Change in 2020  - Excellent and to the point article. A perfect reminder that we always need to aim to be better. From better outreach campaigns to follow-ups to nurturing. Everything needs maintenance. According to Steli Efti, the CEO of Close.io - some things need to change. The three crucial ways that can make your email outreach campaigns stand out and make a genuine impact are: The subject line - take your time and be creative with it and make it more personal. You don’t need to make any grand gestures, but pay attention to any automation mistakes. And the last - use the right CTA.
5 Reasons why you MUST use an Email Outreach Tool for Sales Campaigns  - While some will say it’s outdated and mundane, undoubtedly email outreach is necessary. It’s a fact that most people do it, but not everyone is doing it right. This article pinpoints 5 reasons why you must use an automation tool. And those reasons are: it streamlines cooperation, it makes reporting easier, it provides a better overview, enables development and improvement, and it’s scalable.

TOOL RECOMMENDATION

MailTester

Great and reliable tool for checking various email addresses. And the best part: it’s pretty straightforward. Simple interface and usage.

You can do up to 10 free email verifications since you receive 10 credits immediately after you sign up, and then you can buy credits with one of their pricing options.

I recommend Mail Tester because it’s fast and everyone can use it. It pinpoints the invalid emails from your database with 99% accuracy. If you want excellent deliverability and you wish your emails can reach the right inboxes every time, this is the tool you need.

In his free time, Filip cheerfully indulges in sports activities. ⚽ He finds sports freeing, as it clears his mind allowing him to be more efficient. As a techno devotee as he is, he would say, nothing beats a good techno track after a hectic day. 🎜🎜

Beesletter, No 10. ZZzzZZzzzZ 🐝

🎆🎆{Fireworks buzzing in the background}🎆🎆

Woah, 10th beesletter folks. We are on top of the world right now!!🎷🎸

We hope that you are still walking the outbound growth journey with us. And indulging in our cosy and sweet letters. Because they are made out of the purest and richest honey. Our liquid, viscous gold.

Only the best for the best. No mediocrity allowed.

As we approached our 10th beesletter, we thought it would be nice to write a bit about social etiquette. Or more explicitly - LinkedIn outreach etiquette.

Our bees know that proper behaviour is mandatory. Therefore, let them show you the best way to collect nectar, buzzing by the rules. 😉

THE BEES ARE BLOGGING:
LinkedIn outreach etiquette - social selling means following social protocols

Social etiquette. People are social creatures, we know that. But, little do we know how social etiquette started. Perhaps we can do some history digging? If you decide to google it now, you will see that actually the French started it all. With their “keep off the grass” etiquette, they influenced a whole set of rules, which as time went by, evolved in the rules of behaviour we know today.

Linkedin, as the largest business network has its own set of rules and standards that need to be met. Especially when it comes to social selling and outreach. Building relationships is one thing, but treating LinkedIn as one more social network for entertainment is wrong. Now, first thing first. 📜

Polish your profile - Maintain your LinkedIn profile as if your life depends on it. Seriously. People won’t come to you running if you can’t set a couple of minutes aside to think of a good headline. Remember to regularly check your bio, and update if your business had gone in a new direction. And don't forget the endorsements.
Start connecting - Always try to personalise your invitations. That way, you are increasing the acceptance rate. After they accept you, it’s nice to send a -thank you- follow up. Whether you’ve met in person or not, it is a great conversation starter. Don’t forget your messages. Reply as often as possible.
Time to pitch or not yet? - You should definitely elaborate on your services to your prospects, but when should you do it? Sometimes, all you need is a little experience. And a 6th sense. 😊

LinkedIn outreach is not rocket science, but it's not as easy as pie either. One should always be careful not to hurt one's credibility because social media integrity is the chain that connects all the links. Without it, your brand can suffer.
