Your email containing your information has been received. But before I elaborate further,, may I crave for your indulgence to calm down so that you will understand my position on this for the sake of clarity. 
Mr. Fernandez, Nigerian Custom Service is not a financial institution but a para-military organization whose part of its numerous civic responsibility is to check both in-bound and out-bound passengers either at our land borders or at our airports, and also not excluding the sea ports for unauthorized/undeclared luggage that may contain unlawful items as stipulated in the Nigerian Customs Act. Interestingly Mr. Fernandez, your case is a special case. Special case in the sense that more mind boggling facts have started to emerge. Please be reminded that I am not appealing, and will not appeal to you to believe me. For me, it does not matte what you think of me, but at the end or during the course of history, pro or contra, I will be vindicated.
As at today the 13th of May 2021 I am the Deputy Comptroller of this command and by virtue of my position I have access to indisputable intelligence reports that are available to me first before I can pass it on to my superior. According to the reports obtained from Miss Bodie Joffun Dr. Godwin Emefiele (although he has lost the respect I had for him. I am sorry to say that) who was never interested in releasing your $25,000,000 arranged with some characters to bring in ordinary papers in a box and lied to you that they were boxes containing your fund whereas your fund was at a private facility here in Abuja. According to Bodie Joffun they signed that you have received your fund and also made you to sign invalid documents that your funds has been released to you.
Like we do say here that every day for the thief but one day for the owner, they miscalculated in their minds that that day was suitable for them to strike and the rest now is history. They wanted to take your funds to the Virgin Island for their private use without having the remorse of what they had subjected you to. Mr. Fernandez, as I pointed above,  I will not impress you to believe me but I will impress myself by prosecuting all those that are directly or indirectly involved in this whole saga because this an economic sabotage perpetrated within a command under my watch. I distaste injustice. This is the same thing that happened to Steven Bates, an American whom Dr. Emefiele though his fronts made to part with his $115,000,000 and by then I was heading the Lagos airport command. Unfortunately, officers loyal to Emefiele made the seizures and wanted to sweep it under the carpet but I quickly sent a letter to one of the newspaper houses and the matter was blown open. Whether you agree with me or not there are those that are not comfortable when things are not done the right way. Everybody cannot be a criminal. Just yesterday a former vice chairman of a local government council was arrested by the NDLEA at the Lagos airport with the sum of 170,000,000 and some substance suspected to be cocaine. 
It is the nefarious activities of the CBN and their proxies that hampered the release of your fund despite all the efforts you made within the period under review. I am privy to a lot of intelligence reports that I will share with you alone but you will assure me you will be strictly confidential and mature to handle the reports. The three briefcases containing your fund are still here with me. Although, I am directed to transport them to the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation for safe keeping after my investigation. But the truth Mr. Fernandez  is that if I take them to the NDIC you will not have access to your fund because the government will treat the issue as an economic sabotage against the federal government of Nigeria.
