Over a period of time, Software Systems accumulate internal deficiencies in code. This can happen due to various reasons like

Initial design became inadequate as the system scaled in size and complexity
or technical inadequacies during urgent deliverables left unattended
or attention to internal quality left slack during some phase of development
Many more scenarios can lead to such internal quality issues

Hence the term Technical Debt. This technical inadequacy or quality issues pile up over the period of time making it more error-prone and time-consuming to make any code changes to this piece of application. Software teams end up paying interest in terms of additional efforts due to this technical debt.

On face value, it appears straight forward and logical to take some time off and clear all technical debt. However, it is not practically doable in most cases. Further, there is always an element of subjectivity in Software design, making it difficult to claim whether the technical debt is addressed entirely or partially.

It is advisable to formally plan for technical debt clearance as a part of your software development plan. If there is a poorly designed complex piece of code that has not been changed in years then it is fine to accept this technical debt and not act on it unless needed.

If there are pieces of code which is frequently used across many features and need to be updated more frequently, then there has to be zero tolerance towards any technical debt in these sections.

There is lots of research already happened, in relation to analyzing which inadequacies to be considered as Technical Debt and which are not.

When should a company launch its Product?

When should a company launch its Product?

This is a classic question which needs to be answered by all
product companies, be it an enterprise or a start-up.

Product Manager needs to strike balance between:

Defining product launch scope and adjusting it
New feature development
Defect fixes
Address technical debt
Time at hand

Product developers and designers think that there are still few
code changes they need to make so that there are more features
with the release.

It is crucial to draw a line between better product vs time to
market. It is easier said than done as all the questions product
manager/owner needs to answer are going to set future for the
product and entire team.

If release date is pushed multiple times, it creates a wait
culture in product teams. Further if product is not launched
sooner, real end user feedback will be delayed, leading to
features not in line with user needs and wants.
To meet product launch timelines, quality cannot be
compromised. Buggy product will wipe away all Sales and
Marketing team’s efforts. It will also lead to negative word
of mouth, reducing Customer lifetime value and many more
If features are not as per expectations of end users then
Product’s value proposition will be hampered.
If Technical debt is carried forward, it is going to come
back with interest :) Each development effort will be little
more than what it should have been with clean code.

Product Manager/owner can take good decisions if they receive
reliable inputs from technical team. If it is an offshore team
then feedback loop from technical team to Product team is little
more complex.

properties belonging to the muslims including schools and mosques have
been attacked and destroyed by the anti-Muslims Rebels and we are
forcefully chased
away from our hometown to live like slaves within the neighboring
countries.

am currently residing in a refugee camp here in Senegal and I am

due to my ambition to continue my education in your country and which
has inspired me to reveal a family fund of ( $6.8 Million USD ) that
